Water Quality
The drinking water delivered by Tract 349 is tested regularly for contaminants and bacteria at the source and in the distribution system, as required by the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
All water quality tests are conducted by specially trained technicians in state-certified laboratories. The results are reported each year in a Consumer Confidence Report send to customers.
Questions about tap water quality can be directed to Ryan Rosche at 323-560-1601.
Tract 349 is partnering with the Water Replenishment District of Southern California’s Safe Drinking Water Disadvantaged Communities (DAC) Program to secure state and federal funding for manganese treatment for wells 3 and 4. The program provides technical assistance and extensive outreach to help secure funding that is set aside specifically for disadvantaged communities.
