Water Rates & Fees

Tract 349 Mutual Water Co. is committed to cost-efficient operations and reliable water service. To offset the increase in its replenishment assessment by the Water Replenishment District, the Company’s operating cost, and the cost to continuously upgrade and repair the Company’s distribution system, the Company must adjust its water rates.

Your water bill consists of two charges: a commodity rate for water used and a fixed service charge based on meter size (the “readiness to serve” charge). The amount you pay for water will vary depending on consumption.

Please read below for a breakdown of the charges on your water bill:
Water Rates
April 1, 2024

Effective April 1, 2024, the billing rate of 100 cubic feet of water will be $3.95. This reflects a 2.0 percent decrease from the previous commodity rate.

(100 cubic feet, or HCF, equals 748 gallons)

However, to fund necessary improvements to the Company’s water distribution system, effective April 1, 2024, the Company will begin charging readiness to serve (RTS) rates monthly, rather than bi-monthly. Customers will continue to receive their bills every two months.
